Comfort and Care Ministry
This ministry provides comfort and care for those experiencing any type of loss, especially bereavement. To surround them with caring Christians within the Church and to provide avenues to connect with a group fellowship/or Bible Study. To offer prayer and Godly perspective when appropriate.
Drama Ministry
This ministry attracts members that have the desire to understand the Word of God in a form other than written or verbal; this ministry links spiritual gifts, professional training, natural skills and creative abilities together, all for the Glory of God.
Hospital Visitation Ministry – Reverend Roberta I. Johnson
The purpose of this ministry is making sure the Pastor is made aware, when a member has been admitted to the hospital. This ministry is also responsible for purging the sick list on the church bulletin.
Men’s Ministry, Trees of Righteousness – Deacon Willard A. Durham, Jr.
This Ministry focuses on teaching men to be true men of God.
Missionary Ministry – President, Minister Janet Ford
The Missionary Ministry of The Friendship Baptist Church strives to fulfill and perform the duties of Matthew 25:35-36 with commitment, prayer, service, and dedication through community outreach within the church, local community and state; while developing national and international partnerships. God opens the door for evangelism and the witnessing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for we are sent to serve God and the people of God.
New Beginning Ministry – Reverend Roberta I. Johnson and Deacon Henry Boulding, II
This ministry instructs the new prospective members on how to grow as Christians.
Pastor’s Aid Ministry – Deaconess Almatha Searles. This ministry assists the Pastor and his family as he does the work that the Lord has called upon him to do. They plan the Pastor’s Anniversaries, and other memorable occasions. They are supportive of the vision the Lord has given him.

Women’s Ministry: Women of Divine Purpose
This ministry is a band of Christian women whose primary purpose is to enrich and uplift the Woman of God through fellowship and studying the Word of God.
